#testujeMY – The Idea Behind the Campaign
At a time of growing threat from the coronavirus pandemic, we all need to unite in our efforts to stop it. INVICTA Medical Diagnostic Laboratories teams and the Gdańsk Lodge of Business Centre Club have initiated a project aimed at increasing access to specialised infection diagnostics. We are committed to supporting the Polish people, especially the health professionals and the state authorities in combating the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
Our Infrastructure and Resources
INVICTA Medical Diagnostic Laboratories have been the leader of innovative genetic diagnostics in Poland for 15 years. The facilities are equipped with high quality equipment, in addition to being one of the first in the country to use next-generation sequencing technology (NGS) in DNA testing. Each year, several thousand tests are carried out. The INVICTA Laboratories team is made up of 70 people: experts, scientists, and qualified laboratory diagnosticians, as well as geneticists with many years of experience.
The quality of tests performed in the laboratory is constantly monitored and audited. The organization is involved, i.a., in the LABQUALITY quality assessment, the controls of the National Centre for Laboratory Diagnostics Quality Assessment and the National Centre for Microbiological Diagnostics Quality Assessment.The organisation implemented quality standard systems and has obtained a positive recommendation from the Polish Society of Human Genetics.
Additionally, it periodically undergoes external inspections carried out, among others, by GenQA (formerly CEQAS and UK NEQAS), QCMD (Quality Control for Molecular Diagnostics), EMQN (European Molecular Genetics Quality Network), CF Network (Cystic Fibrosis European Network), RIQAS (Randox International Quality Assessment Scheme), INSTAND (Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Qualitätssicherung in medizinischen Laboratorien), EQA (External Quality Assessment).
